Accused of statutory ?

Well. I am 18 years of age. My girlfriend is 16. (High school Sweethearts) So we've been together for about 10 months, and lucky me...i turn 18 in a few days. We have NEVER had , due to the fact that i believe in abstinence strongly. Her mother says the day i turn eighteen she will file a statutory charge on me. How would that ever hold up in court? Here is a little background check for me as a person. I am currently attending school for a bachelors in CRIMINAL JUSTICE, and i wish to apply for law school after that. Why would i jeopardize my career like that?.. Exactly i wouldn't. All in all, im not a bad kid, i just want to have a better future for myself, and whomever i choose to be with in the future. Will this allegation hold up in court?.. This is the most ignorant situation I've ever dealt with in life....Can someone please help?
