Can i put 2 finches into the same cage as my atiel? The cage is 1 1/2 feet by 2 1/2 feet.?

My atiel is scared of almost everything. I rescued a parakeet found in a parking lot. When it recovered and got it's strength back, it started attacking my atiel. I plan on finding the finches a new home (they were mistreated), but i have them in a hamster cage and they need something bigger. My atiel's cage is huge for just him and i need to know if i should put them together or not.
