Will we ever figure out super conductivity or warping of space and time?

If we ever figure out the physics involved in super conductivity and the isolation of matter such as a space craft or some kind of shielding how will we survive inside the ship? In Other words can a human being actually survive the theoretical warp jump that is an actual scientific reality? When we figure out this technology how will we use it how will we avoid asteroids radiation etc...
