Family object to my conversion to catholism?

I think Roman catholicism is marginally better than not having any religious interest at all but my advice to you would be to get into a good evangelical Church. Rituals and medieval chicanery are grand up to a point but if you ever once meet the risen Christ and experience real conversion to him Roman Catholicism is something you will desperately want to scrap or escape. Try the Alpha Course in a good evangelical Church. The Holy spirit beats all the priests and gurus ever conceived by stale human traditions which deceive people.
