Well the only suggestion is to get a 790FX or 790GS motherboard. They are about the best AMD boards to overclock, you might can get by with a 780, but I have never used one of those. I had a Gigabyte 790X board that had many of overclocking options, way more than my 690v boards. Like you said, I was able to get my 5200 to 3.0ghz fairly easily, I couldn't go too much higher and have stabiltiy, but I really never tried much above 3.0ghz after I got it there, as I was using the stock AMD cooler...
