Should the guy that threw shoes at bush really be rewarded? (just look?) Muntadhar al-Zaidi question?

As a citizen who by no means appreciated George Bush or what he did to this country, I was really upset about the show throwing incident. How any US citizen could find this situation funny is beyond me. You may not like George Bush, but this was very disrespectful. I did not back Bush and his policies, but I respected him for what he stood for in this country. Promising this man cars, etc, is awful.
