Is there a nutritionist out there that can answer this? I'm trying to do away with white refine sugars, flour, anything that is going to immediately turn to sugar if I don't burn it off. I also heard that potatoes & rice will immediately turn to sugar, as well. My triglyceride reading is a little high. If I substitute regular potatoes with sweet, would that help or is it basically the same? I do plan on limiting my carbs anyway but, when I do eat some, I'd like it to be the right kind.
